300/440/550 im getting shocked

so i tore apart my ebox to find out what was wrong with it and it ended up being the coil. i replaced it and took it out riding today. i was jamming 1/2 throttle and jumping around trying to teach myself a sub and i got shocked like hell then it died and wouldnt even turn over (as if the battery was unhooked). similar to sticking a hand in a wall outlet (yes i have done it on accident) so i beached it and checked all my connection in the hull and everthing looked good. so i took it back out and about when i hit 1/2 to 3/4 throttle it shocked me again. i kicked it and put it back on the trailer. anyone know why it is shocking me. and its shocking me on the throttle side.

sorry about it being a bit jumpy there was a lot to say

Def coming from that, idk what your doing to replace that stuff but I'm assuming its not done right. spliced spark plug wires isn't going to work, neither are auto plug caps.
you said you put new coil, wires, and boots then did that again when it broke down at the lake?

no i bought a ngk plug boot and wire from local jet ski dealer. and the wire isnt spliced at all. it runs directly into the coil in the ebox.

I'm guessing you got a bad connection somewhere, I would try sealing things up with a bit of dielectric grease, esp around the wire-cap connection. Make sure your throttle cable is not rubbing on anything.
Il ask again, after it stopped running and wouldn't start what did you have to do to get it running again?

Sounds basic but just always remember that electricity always follows the bath of least resistance.
typicaly that path would be from your coil-through the wire-through plug boot/plug cap-and into the spark plug which has to be well ground, which it is though the engine. If any of those are interuped in anyway then it is going to look for another way to ground which getts easy to find when everything is wet.
Id say redo your plug caps to to make sure they have real good connection and the big one make sure that your neg. battery cable is grounded with a very good clean connection to your motor. If it is and the arc jusmp you shouldnt feel it your self.
Where is it that you are feeling the shark. in hands, feet, ect...
