IJSBA Freestyle Rules Meeting/Teleconference

The IJSBA is inviting all interested persons in Freestyle competition to attend a meeting at the IJSBA office on November 24 at the IJSBA offices in Half Moon Bay, California. For those unable to attend, we will procure conference call capabilities for a group conference.
Space is limited in both the meeting room and on the conference line. Therefore, we are requesting that persons interested in attending RSVP with a resume of their Freestyle credentials in the event that we reach capacity.
It is strongly suggested that persons come prepared with a list of suggested rule changes. Coming prepared means being able to address the suggested rule changes and the likely impact of the change and possible oppositions that other parties might have to that particular rule change.
Persons interested in contributing but not interested in attending the meeting should prepare a draft of their rule change suggestions and submit it to the IJSBA by November 21. All suggestions will be presented at the meeting.
Transcripts of the meeting will be submitted to the IJSBA Board of Directors for rule change voting. The IJSBA Board of Directors shall vote on all rule changes on December 18, 2008. The 2009 IJSBA rule changes will be available online on December 22.
The 2009 IJSBA Rule Book Rough Draft will be available online on December 29. The Rule Book will become final on January 5, 2009.
The IJSBA office is located at 330 Purissima St., Suite C, in Half Moon Bay, California. The conference room can accommodate between 12-16 persons.
