Looks like a HOOT !!

I know that I will be doing the same thing in the not too distant future except for the one way valve.
I just don't feel too happy having a valve that can brake installed in a way that you can't replace it.
There has to be a better way.

riding the sj is the only my back does NOT hurt, oddly enough.

It will leak without it and chris from 24/7 told me he put one in a ski 10 years ago with no probs.

I know that valve is a good thing but I'm toying with an idea of inserting it into a bigger pipe. Sort of like a pipe inside a pipe.
There would have to be a reducer with a threaded fitting inside that the valve would screw on.
I did something similar installing a pool heater once, the check valve was under a slab and it had to be removable.

Just a dumb idea that I will try to figure out once I get around to it.
