Ok this is on my stock 91 650 backup/ friend loaner superjet. So today i got it out of the barn for the first time this year and went to put new plugs in it and one plug is a a/m ngk plug cap and the other is stock. The ngk cap was siezed onto the plug so i pulled and pulled the inside out and said what the heck ill try to just run it by pushing it back on. So i got the battery in and just a click. So i cleaned up the terminals and the wires and then it cranked for about 7 sec and fired up. so i put it in the water and the ski ran good my buddy ran it for like ten min then switched to me without shutting it off trying to charge the battery. I rode it for like five min then got board (it is a 650) and started to ride around on the hood. Well i fell off and the ski shut off and it would not crank over at all so he towed me back in and i went and put it on the charger. It was on there for like and hr and put it back in the ski nothing. so i jumped it and it started right up. So i switched it out for my fourwheeler batter a littlebit smaller but still worked fine. So then we put it back in the water and I took it out and it seemed to run ok then it would kinda bog down a little bit. Then it would run great then do the same thing even more. then it bogged down so much it almost did not run. Then it died and i started it back up and drove it in. I thought maybe the ngk cap that had pulled apart eairler was making it run off of one cylender at some times. So i went to the yamaha shop and bought a new one. So i put that one on and screwd it into the wire and it would not fit. So i unscrewed the nipple on the plug and it fit and stayed on it. I started it up and it ran great for 100ft or so when i carved around a bouy it bogged down then died. Then it would not start up at all. I still did not get it to start even when i brought it home. So i checked the spark and it seemed good and bright. Then i did a compression test and got 150/150. So i pulled the carb off and looked at the jets and they seemed clean. Then i looke at the needle and seat and it looked like it had something on it i could not tell if it was just a fuel bubble or some corrosion stuff that was also in the carb. No matter what im going to take the carb up to the shop and have it cleaned because it looks dirty. But i dont think that that is the reason it wont even start what do you guys think?
Thanks for the info in advance
