I found this fx1 near my house, and a buddy picked it up. Now i have it. I stole it for only 600. bucks. Nice looking hull and motor with all these goodies. the motor is a 61 topend and a 62t bottom end. The guy who had the ski seems to think its a 760, but not sure. It was sitting under his carport for a while. The motor has light weight flywheel, msd enhancer, msd coils, girdle head, factry b pipe, dual mik38 carbs, and it has been bored over. it also came with a bunch of oem and aftermarket parts. Another awesome item that it came with is a 144 superjet pump. So now I start putting all these things together. I plan on taking my time with this project. I am new to the fx1 scene, so info would be great. I will be selling a good bit of these other items too. here are some pic.

-paint everything purple to black
-144 superjet pump
-xmetal steering
-and some other miscellaneous parts

Take a heat gun to the guard around the pole bracket and it will look as good as new again!
I cant believe what you got for what you paid! Feels good to get goods deal like that from time to time!

Glad to help. What were the chances you meeting that guy on the lake last week? Talk about being in the right place at the right time with the right people. Still can’t believe it, who would’ve guessed something like that right here in town? Excellent find I think…

hey, just got finished working on the headpipe today. with a little heat the top and bottom screws came out ok, but the middle stripped out. tried drilling it, but naturally the bit walked. ended up using a dremel tool with a 1/8" carbide bit to get the rest out. by this time the hole was big, so i taped it to fit a 5/16-18 bolt, then i taped the bolt 10/32. came out pretty good, water tested and all screws work controlling the water flow. the only concern might be the stainless on stainless contact, but there should be some anti-galling grease for that. when you order the BK twisters get the standard size (10/32 pitch).

l tried that on my fx1 with no luck.ln fact it made it look worse. But then l read somewhere to take softscrub with bleach and 000 steelwool to clean it.That works, except it takes forever............Great winter time job.
