i just sold by 650sx today

and am looking at a squarnose superjet tommorow.............

what are the normal compression for a stock 650 6m6 engine?

anything else i should look for?

thanks for the help

All my squares have had approx. 135 lbs I believe - pay close attention to how close the compression is between the two cylinders, but I think 130-150 is what you will see.

Being peak season and being in CA, $800 is pretty fair if it's in working order with good compression. Heck if you can get it for less, good on you! 150 psi on a good gage is where it should be but the cheaper gauges seem to read 10-20 psi low so don't freak out. Like Kurt said, it each cylinder is close and it's above 130, you'll be okay.
