Custom/Hybrid hydroturf grip/traction?

Getting ready to buy new hydroturf and was curious about the traction. I've ordered cut groove, b stock, and the long cut diamond in the big sheets. I like the cut groove because it offers a lot of traction compared to b stock which seems really slick. I'd like to get some molded diamond instead of the cut diamond just because it's deeper and won't wear to the point of being flat so fast but I'm afraid it might have that slick glossy surface to it.

What are you experiences with traction from different cuts/molds?

My buddy has waffle cut with 1" plush padding and Ive got the b stock with 9 mil regular padding, I think his ski has more traction but I think that its the padding not the turf, Personally I like my set-up better, I dont know how to explain it...his is just to comfortable lol

I have molded diamond, and it's great. Very deep, but it can mess your skin up if you rub even just a little too much.

The cut IS supposed to have more grip...
