I was showering today, and had a revolation. I'm currently putting a shower in my basement, one with a head on both sides, and got to thinking, why not put hydro turff down on the shower floor instead of tile, with the cool thick gray padding it would softer, CHEAPER, easier to install, i think. what do you guys think ?:bad:

I see a nasty staph infection in your future.

You'll never keep it clean OR dry. it will be breeding ground for all kinds of bacteria and mold. and the damp smell will be everywhere.

thats why i posted the idea here, to get some insight, more than what i was thinking. the outdoor thing would probably be perfect, but indoor is not looking so well.

ud be better off tiling the shower and making a shower mat out of it...... or a shower pad (for inside the shower) that isnt glued down so u could hang it up to dry............... but i still think the shower mat (outside the shower to stand on when u get out) would be the closest thing to what u want without the above mentioned issues
