hull kits

i have not found any kits out yet that you can buy a top and bottom of a hull and do the work yourself like the yamaoctane build in the build section.if their were any available would their be much interest in them?

I know Trinity Plans on offering a Kit like this as well.... SJ kit will be a little while before production though.

Topdecks

SJ topdeck (standard only topdeck), make aesthetics different if you wish (contoured gunwhales, etc..)

Bottoms

Stock SJ bottom (hopefully lighter and stronger than the SMC OEM bottoms)
SXR Style bottom (longer strakes, slightly longer bottom at plate)
Wide SJ Bottom (wider ski, tubbies installed from mold)


If these could weigh in @ 270-280lbs complete, and run any aftermarket hood, you would have to sell them for $2000 to compete IMO. Maybe my number is off, I'm just shooting something out there, I've only talked to 1 AM Hull MFG, so I'm not sure where everyone else is in terms of $ for something like this.

i working on making kits like this know, 2 different styles of sj top decks, with a standard sj bottom deck, 100% vinyl ester for both decks, ill get some weight specs when i get one done

At least I hope so. I'll buy one.
