hull crack, repairs?

i was told its not bad, i agree, BUT its seeping water!
i want to just epoxy over it and be done, but its on the left side of the intake grate. i dont want to seal up a bunch of water under the tray, right?
can i just fix the leak and all will be good?

If your looking for just a quick fix then just go ahead and throw some epoxy on it with some microfibers in it. Otherwise I would get the dremel tool out and drill two holes, one at each end of the crack and then make a V along the whole crack. If you plan on doing footholds then I would pull the foam and fix it from the inside with glass along with the whole dremel tool tactic, but in the meantime just seal it up so no more water gets in.
