Super Jet how wide and thick is a RN superjet oem pole?

Hey guys, i was hoping someone could measure the with and height of a oem roundnose pole. Im looking to fit one on a 550sx and just want to make sure it will fit in the hoods recessed portion. While I have your attention im on the hunt for a pole so if ya know someone that might want to get rid of one, let me know please! thanks!

6.75" wide, 3" thick at the base tapers as you go up. Stands about 6.5" tall on a flat surface (measured from the surface to the top surface of the pole).

Looks like it will be too wide without hood modifications. I dont think ill go down that road. I hate the oem 550sx pole but i reckon its gonna have to do.
