Super Jet How to shorten spark wire

Hello
Is it possible to shorten the oem spark wires? One of my spark wires was broken directly in the front.
i have shortened it but the oem one looks like it was soldered on the one of the wire.
is it possible to use this wire now after trimming it ?

Only crimp the wire or with the thin wires that are drilled around the small wire
