How tall are the bow stop posts?

I'm welding up a couple vertical bow stop posts for my double trailer (replacing the cranks) - how many inches tall are they usually, can someone measure their brand-name trailer and tell me?

Also, anyone got a good line on the u-shaped urethane stops that mount to the posts? I see Westmarine has them at $19.99 each.....any cheaper? (trying to avoid shipping, Westmarine is at the lake Ozark) Theres one brand I've seen that everyone has, can't remember the brand name right now.

The brand is stoltz. Try to see if you can find a trailer supply store. That's where I've bought them. West Marine is a rip-off on everything.

Marz, if you can drive to a store and get it for $19.99 (I'm down there anyway today), then you can beat the $16.99 plus $10-12 shipping costs price and have it now.

I'm not a WMarine fan but hey if they got it and I dont have to spend any more on shipping this season, Im in. I feel like I've boosted Fedex and UPS stock this year by myself.

I agree though, Ill watch for a trailer supply store.

I ordered mine directly from carl stoltz, talked to him on the phone, and had 2 of them about 3 days later for cheaper than i could get them anywhere else.

pwc-6 is the partnumber for them I think.

I hope you drill multiple holes to make them adjustable. I know my X2's bow eyes are higher than an SJ. Always makes it a pain switching trailers.
