I've never pulled this pipe b4 and can't get to these manifold bolts...any hints. I can't get em w/a long or short socket, a box wrench won't fit in the space...i can barely get to it from above and below is not an option. :censored:

follow the head pipe down, there will be 3 or 4 bolts that join the pipe to the manifold. remove the bolts and the headpipe and chamber will come loose, then remove the manifold.

It actually may be easier to just remove the motor. 4 bolts and undo the battery, start stop switch and take the electrical box off the mounts.

Have you tried the offset wrenches yet? Looks like it would fit but I don't know how big that "V" is. The next question has to be, even if you can get them off, will you be able to get them back on without pulling the motor?

I don't know about the SJ's but my Kawi takes me a solid 20+ minutes and at least 2 bloody knuckles to get the pipe off. An hour or so later and I might have the engine out (if I'm lucky) so that isn't a good option for me.
