how much fuel should pump out of the 650sx fuel pump?

so i got everything together tonight
im certain ive got the fuel line hooked up correctly.

testing a few things.

it has spark and compression.
explodes the ether when i spray down carb.

so i tested if the fuel pump pumps any fuel and it does, pointing the line downwards while turning it over, fuel "TRCKLES" out. drip drip drip drip. does this sounds right or does the pump have to pump it flowing out?

the motor has only been apart for 3 weeks, and the carby was stood up and covered up mostly, there has been times where fiberglass fibres have settled on it but nothing alarming.

any tips?

It operates from crankcase pressure changes on every stroke. One squirt for every revolution, it will flow more smoothly when the engine is running.

okay, thanks, the pump does work quiet well then, so why is the carb then not sucking in the fuel??? must be a blokaged right? because if the pumps working then wtf?

the carb is a 28mm with external pump, the tank valve works well
everything is fine, had ZERO dramas with her since buying it a 2 months ago, was only when i broke engine mounts weeks back. i did lose the ski and it was running up side down gettinging pumped by waves, it then died, i fliped it over and the bilge that located up the FRONT was pumping water out for 90 secs!!

is it possible i have salt inside the carb? im able to blow through the carb and hear air going to the return

i got it running bro, must have been the smallest bit of fuel gumming up an orifice. first time using carby clearer woooo!!!
