Does you ski burn?
It seemed at the LKN freeride that some folks dont much time out of their tanks with the big bores?
So, post up!:bigok:

wow its dead in here. Memorial day weekend :fing02:

im guessing mine would run through about 2. but i never really ran it for an hour straight.. my 550 seemed like it went through 4-5 an hr. letting friends ride gets expensive.. .

I'd love to see a ski that only burns 1/2 gal per hour and would love to ride one that burns 4+ per hour. LOL

I would easily go through 5 gallons in 1.5-2 hours of actual ride time, faster if running buoys.

Superstock 86mm Flattop big bore with single 48 mikuni.

OMG mine runs over 7 hours !! It starts useing more if i stop idling and open up the throttle.. If I ride it normal, at a lake (useing throttle) I can burn a tank in 45-60 minutes.. My SS Lamey wouldn't last 30 minutes..
There used to be a chart for this and I think a 61x/61x burns 5 gallons a hour at full throttle..

This is like the "how many miles can you go on a tank" thread...

18-28 ? Can you go 18-28 mph for a hour ? lol

I use about the same or less fuel in my 829cc Lamey than my stock 650 uses. On the stock 650 you are running full throttle almost 100% of the time. On a highly modded freestyle ski (my Lamey) I'm running around 1/4 throttle with sporadic full throttle hits. If I ran my Lamey WFO it would 1.) blow up 2.) Throw me and 3.) Use a full tank in about 10 minutes.

300sx? 1 cylinder, 1 carb . . . .

Mine uses about 1 tank per summer....no one rides it.

I agree. We had a guy in the group with a piped 650 SJ but with a stock prop. He was burning nearly 3 gallons per hour trying to keep up with us. A 8-16 impeller got him back to less than 2.0 gallons per hour.

Oh yeah, my Team Scream 828 stroker burns about 2.5 gallons per hour. I'm actually a proud of that. Last year it was less, I think I am learning to ride faster, longer, harder, haha.
