How hot does the exhaust manifold get?

I'm trying to find some gasket sheets because factory pipe gaskets aren't cheap and have to be ordered. I've bought and ruined 3 gaskets already this year because the pipe bolts keep rattleing out. I believe my lean condition had a hand in that too...working on it now.

Anyway, I know water runs through that manifold all the time and obviously the exhaust itself is very hot but since I can touch the manifold briefly after a ride without getting burned, it can't be that bad. Would a gasket rated to 350 degrees be sufficient? I can get some 500 degree stuff too but gotta order that too. All the other gaskets at parts store say "exhaust gasket material" but don't give a temperature rating so in my mind...they won't work.

two things to consider with your bolt issue:
1. are your mani and head pipe perfectly aligned?
2. are you using washer/lockwasher combo and locktite on those pipe bots?
