Super Jet How do you remove copper bushings from the 62t case and flywheel cover that hold the bendix ?

I noticed that there is a bevel grove spiral inside the bushings. Like the spiral inside the barrel of a rifle. Is there a tool that fits into the spiral to pull the bushing out ?

The spiral is for the grease. Tap the old bushing and pull it out with some big washers and a nut.

If you drop a small washer into the bushing, and use a bottoming tap, you can just run the tap and when it bottoms out on the washer, keep going. It’ll pull the bushing out.

Thanks. I just tap the copper bushings . Threaded in a bolt with oversized washers and pulled it right out.
