300/440/550 how can i modify my stock exhaust???

ok guys i have a 87 js 300 that is bone stock.. how can imod my stock exhaust? i hearyou can take off the muffler which will give you better sound and still not hurt the perf. im a complete newbie when it comes to these motors so b patient withme lol

There is not much modding that you can do to a stock.js 300 exhaust. The "muffler" is actually a waterbox, leave it in there. It helps keep water out of the engine and it quiets down the exhaust.
