hood seal removal, painting facory rubber nose piece and railcaps

dang they really got theme factory hood seals on there, fixing to paint my ski and thought it was a good idea to remove, but its on there, anyone have any suggestions on the best way to remove, I also was curious as to if anyone has ever painted the rubber nose piece, or the rubber rail caps. aloha

painting the rubber pieces will never hold up so you may as well forget that idea.

yeah what i figured ill just turf theme, i broke out the dremel with wire wheel worked good

And put some padding underneath! It's cheap and easy and saves your elbows and other body parts that slam down on the rail caps. Very few people pad there, but everyone who rides my ski likes the padding.
