It’s time for a new hood seal on my SV1. It doesn’t leak at all, but it is beginning to collapse and now the hood and hull are making contact. With the vibration from the engine at idle, they run against each other pretty aggressively. So I am looking at replacing it.
What are people running for hood seals in AM skis? I know of the pour-in option, which seems sweet but I have never worked with it before. Or is it better to go with the classic peel and stick type of hood seal? Any insight is appreciated.
