Super Jet High Comp head and temp sensor?

I was wondering on everyone's thoughts here. I have a 701 bored over and a high comp head, intake and exhaust work, and was wondering everyone's thoughts on the temp sensor. I read that the motor will tend to run warmer with the head and 91 octane, and trigger it, is this true?

You might only find one or two guys out of 100's that will say to keep it. Most tie it up out of the way or remove it all together. They usually do not work in time anyways.

If you are asking will it trip the sensor with those mods, I would say it is highly unlikely.
You run a much great chance with our 90* water temps and blocked cooling lines.

Lose it if you want....

I have put them on using zip ties onto the top of the head and held in place to the girdled studs . I know most people say it's not worth it but this guy bought a used ADA head and I installed it for him and he insisted he wanted it on. His nephew was using it and guess what it came on and they found the cooling line was clogged with sand and gravel.

I really just need to take the time and run duel cooling for the ski. I do have a screen filter for the cooling system so I don't think it would clog up as bad, but the high water temps would be my concern

The temp sensor will not be a problem and is desirable if the head will accept it. Its a convenient way to know when to stop dry revving on the trailer. Most people foolishly remove them along with their rev limiters for whatever reason. There must be some conventional wisdom among jetskiers that I dont understand.

While river riding I sucked up some pine bark and it clog an elbow. The exhault sounded like a YZ100. Then I noticed a weak pisser...lol. However, if I lown it to somebody it may of been a meltdown. I would like to have sensor. I remember the OMC outboard had a buzzer and after 5 years in the bussiness I never heard of the alarm going off.
