I plug in sealed bullet connectors around my bars next to the start/stop...

Enviromentally sealed toggle with rubber boot, and 5200 over and around all external connections and joints for extra insurance.

Took that one off last week with a broken wire, this one is genuine Wetjet with yamaha connectors at the ebox, and kawi style lanyard.

I put the toggle switches for my and Experimental's (my son) SJ's right under the handpole, we just reach under and flip it forward and its on.

I don't like routing that stuff in the pole.
I've been using a JSS switch in the dash for three years now without problems.
