Hi

Hi Everyone,

Iv just joined this forum, I'm from Richards bay South Africa, I'v been riding my superjet for a couple of months now, we have very good surf here so iv become pretty competent riding in the surf but I'm battling to get the ski out the water on flat water, from what Iv read I think it might be the ride plate? I have attached a pic of it and my ski.

Cheers.

I'd go with a D cut stock plate on that ski for the surf. What are you running for a prop?

Maybe cut those homemade extentions off your stock rideplate.
What impeller do you run? What motor?

Well spottted WAB, Get rid of the extensions and concentrate on geting the handling right on your ski. Quick steer, decent scope grate and after market impeller (and possibly a freestyle pump cone) will take care of that. If you havent already done this of course. Hard to tell with the photos you have uploaded.

Thanks guys,

The ski does have an aftermarket grate and it came with a skat track box with the standard impeller in it, so I take it its in the ski?

What would you recommend for quick steer and what is a freestyle cone?
