Have you tried both reserve and on lines to see if one works and one does not?
Is your pulse line hooked to the pump and not accidentally to the fuel in?
the arrow pointing in to your fuel pump would be the reserve and the arrow pointing out would be the return, splice the tee for the primer in the reserve line and plug the "on" line
