help!!

im swaping my pole and bracket off my 96 sj. having some troubles with the stop start switch! how do you get it all disconnected to fit through the pole?

you have to pull the connectors up through the pole.

Just unplug it inside the engine compartment. One has red and brown wires, and the other is black and white. Take the wire ties off the rubber sleeve that goes around all the wires at the base of the pole, and they'll slide right out.

Since you already have the gas tank out anyway, just disconnect the switch cables from their connectors and pull em through like demolition_x said. You will have to pop out that rubber grommet from the hose in the middle of the bracket that holds all the other cables.
