help with oil block off

What all do I need to do to take off the oil injection on my 96 blaster? ITs the dual carb motor.

You just need one of the oil block off plates for the stator cover. Then disconnect the oil lines going to the carbs. The block off plates usually come with caps for the oil line fittings on the carbs.

thats what I thought, I just wasn't sure what to do with the lines..

is there a gear or something on the inside of the stator coverI have to take off??

who makes a good block off kit?

You just unbolt the pump on the stator cover, and everything comes out. The plate just bolts back over the hole. I got mine from the local shop. It's just a piece of aluminum with two holes and a gasket. I wouldn't worry about a specific brand.

oh ok cool. Riva has one.. but doesn't say anything about oil line caps.

ok ordered a block off kit from sbt. theres had the caps.

all I do is take out the 2 bolts and the pump comes out? Then just put the cap on, and pull the tank and lines out?

yes, dont forget to cap the oil lines on the carbs

do I need to zip tie the rubber covers on?
