Octane help with octane

i have a 2003 octane has no spark i put a new cdi box and wired a yamaha coil in which i was told to do by walmiltons i have power to the coil but nothing out of the coil the coil did dome out of a running super jet wtf I need help

I almost in the same spot as you right now. I am out at the lake and my octane died. It has spark but I cant tell if its weak or not. It wont run at all now but backfires every 10 secs or so. I am hoping I just stipped the flywheel key. Is it normal for the coils to go out on these things?

i put a cdi and a coil in it wtf i have a tech from a polaris dealer coming over tomorrow to go through if he finds anyhting out ill let u know

Check your plug wires guys, we were having some electrical problems on a ski we couldn't figure it out. It ended up that a plug wire was shot and grounding out.

I pulled everything off at the lake to check the flywheel key and that was still good. It has spark but its really weak. I got it to run at one point but was only running on one cylinder and was backfiring every 5 secs or so. I just had the cdi program by watcon. Anyone know how to check to coil or cdi to see if there good?

There is no test for cdi's, coils can be resistance tested. .35 ohms primary tab to primary tab, secondary tab to secondary tab 1200-1600 ohms. Eric Kawaextreme needs a stator. These boats have very very finiky ignition systems
