Help what carb/intake is is this ??

This came of a 550 and was mounted sideways ?? The intake comes out straight and the carb is a keihin ??

Never seen this setup anyone have any story ?

This manifold was made by PJS, the PJS logo was milled off on the one in the pic and restamped with RE Ent. I have used one sitting on the shelf if anybody wants one!
