I have a problem. One of the bolts for my starter cylinoid is completely... disolved... The other is just fine and so is the cylinoid. I need to replace the part to get the ski running. What is gone is (most importantly) the stud/bolt extension that stick off the cylinoid that the wire hooks too. It's also missing all the washers and other good stuff but w/e I can make that. Mainly I need that extension, or some way to rig an extension. I'm not in the mood to buy a whole cylinoid...

all thread?

screw a proper sized stainless bolt into the hole with all the wires inder the head?

Or, goto a Napa, or other decent auto parts store, pick up a $9 solenoid for a lawn tractor, and use that. ( dip it in epoxy if you think it wont last or you ride in salt)

Hey, that's a good tip.

I tried to open my cylinoid and I cannot. I was going to rig it but I can't get it working right now. I'm not sure if I broke it when I went to open it or if I put the wires back on it wrong.
