650/X-2 Help needed

Just picked up a 1990 650SX (single carb). It has been in storage for 4 yrs. Runs well. However, everytime the pump comes out of the water and get some air in it the engine will bog and then stall. one or two pumps on the primer and it fires right back up. Any ideas? I Checked & cleaned the inline fuel filter, Carb fuel filter, cleaned jets, fresh gas and new plugs.

sounds like fuel starvation because primer helps
check the inline fuel filter
internal carb fuel filer
and diaphram
