HELP!! - MSD wiring with Start/Stop & Solenoid?

Looking for some help to check I have the start stop switch wired up correctly? - This is a new JSS built board so the rest of the wiring should be A1, the only bit I needed to do is the Start/Stop and I'm stuck!

I have cabled the Start/Stop as follows:

• Red & Black from Start/Stop linked together and connected straight to ground (used earth backing plate of solenoid)
• Brown from Start/Stop connected to left hand side of solenoid
• White wire from Start/Stop connected to Pink wire from the brain

I have no response to the Stop/Switch when pressed. However if I bypass the solenoid the ski turns over and the plugs spark brightly. Its a solenoid/Start Stop wiring issue I think?

The Solenoid is an MSD one - my finger is pointing at where I have the brown wire connected to.

Is the Brown wire above connected to the correct side of the Solenoid? – it seems both go to earth – perhaps I just need to connect the brown start stop wire to the live side of the solenoid but clearly I don’t want to take and risks and damage anything so thought I would check?

Here's how I have it connected – I am :):):):) with electrics so please respond assuming I know nothing when replying!

Grateful for any response/help that may get me on the water this weekend?!:friday:

s/s red to the big battery side post on the relay.

s/s brown to one of the coil wires on the relay.

the other coil post gets grounded, as does the s/s black.

white (i believe) should go to pink.

i THINK this is right. hopefully, someone else can chime in to verify.

Correct

Correct

Correct, I make a post bolt to bolt all grounds to, then run a ground cable from the post bolt to the back of the starter bolt with the stock ground cable

white (i believe) should go to pink.
Correct

I did!

Purple from brain to switch (or use a bullet plug) then connect to the battery side post on the relay for 12v power source.
