HELP...Insurance coverage on shipping skis

Need some help finding either a good shipping company with good insurance coverage or a company that covers shipping insurance on skis..
So far the best I found is UPS...
.90 cents per $100 coverage..
Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I used freight quote to ship
and insure, have you tried them ?

Its all about the freight class you have to select the correct one for what you're shipping. Unfortunately the freight class for a complete Jet Ski is quite high, expensive, compared to shipping a chunk of fiberglass, or used truck axle. Same box same weight, HUGE diff in shipping costs. You can insure it and chose the cheaper incorrect freight class but if there is a claim...

The real secret is to call someone who knows what they are doing and tell them what you are shipping. Then make decisions based on that info. Considering they give you the correct info.
