Super Jet Help identify metal found in hull.

I haven't been home to tear into it, hopefully tonight. But last time I was out, I was getting a lot of water and it cavitated on tail stands. It also vibrates like crazy now. I pulled up to the beach and I could hear the water running in near the midshaft housing. Also found the attached images in the hull. I think they are from the midshaft (already ordered one from jetmaniac) but I want to be sure because they don't look like any part of the midshaft I've ever seen.

Also, they could be unrelated and indicative of another problem.

So you think it might be the race or something for the bearing inside the midshaft? That's what I thought too, but couldn't find any pictures that looked similar. I'll know tonight and post pictures.

That's really all it can be. I would check for up/down movement of the mid shaft.
