I see you are new so welcome to the board. If you are able to make it to any big rides, you will notice people wearing a variety of helmets. There are several threads through out the forum discussing everyone's opinions of helmets. Use the search function at the top of the tool bars and you'll get a ton of hits.
I personally use a Bell bmx helmet. Lightweight, protects the noggin & teeth & doesn't get heavy in water.
