Custom/Hybrid Help: Blowsion spacer ring for solas pump too small

Anyone sand the inside diameter of spacer ring to fit ? Apparently they made a bunch that have too small of an inside diameter to fit on the pump. They fit inside the nozzle fine so outside diameter is right on. It's made of billet but if it's not sanded even, the long pump bolts won't go in the impellar housing from bad alignment.
I called Shane at Blowsion and he could not get several right out of the package to fit either. He said he will get back to me. Should I sand it out ?

I got mine last summer and had the same problem. I called the vender and was told to sand it to fit.
if I had more time I would have sent it back for one that was machined properly.
as a I.D. O.D. grinder by trade I was really disturbed by the crapy quality of the ring I recieved.
this was not the venders fault as he did not machine them, but it cost me valuable time on my build.

I used a flapper sanding wheel on my dremel and it turned out perfect. I took my time sanding and tapped on with a rubber mallet for a snug fit. Took a little time (10 minutes), but it's rock solid and no big deal as far as fitting aftermarket parts go. I agree it should fit properly, but for some reason must aftermarket stuff requires some luvin.

Best way I found to grind this down is to stand it up on a work bench hold the top of ring firm pressing it down on bench. Then work around bottom half with die grinder sanding bit. Hope this helps someone on a future search because from what I gather most of these rings are cut wrong.Fits good now and had to take a substantial amount off.Blowsion never called me back either.
