2 weeks ago I had the ski out and it ran great for a few hours then died towards the end of the day. I figured I ran out of gas because I was pretty much out.. then once I put new gas in the ski it would only fire up on primer then cut out. I thought it was crap that got in the lines from the tank or the carb acting up, so I did some work (and extra stuff) to try to fix that.
I bolted on a new tuned carb, cleaned out all the lines, put on a new top end gasket kit, charged my battery, spark plugs and tested my compression. It's registering a flat 126psi in both cylinders. Isn't this a little low? Is it ok to go test out or should I do anything else? The ski does run now and I can rev it without it dying on me. Any words of advice on the compression and previous cutting out on primer?
