I rode with a motor helmet and once they get wet they get heavy.........they are typically heavier anyway b/c they have to be approved for racing.

all of evs stuff is sweet as hell!! i just got the carbon fiber knee brace ill test it out in pism0 this weekend.im sure the helmet is not that heavy its most likely made out of all carbon!

I have an email into my rep to see what the weight is with it wet... Also those helmets have diferent types of inner inserts. I am wondering if they have one that wont get water logged !

it is open face but since i got my gath helmet i cant stand to wear anything else .all the bmx/motox helmets hold too much water

Dont these helmets catch the water when you fall and snap your neck back or worse? They dont look like somethign i would want to put on my head in the water.

I thought the same thing. I got a cheep helmet last season and now I don't like riding without it. It is a bell full face bmx style and no where near what these guys are talking about but The subs and water issues were not bad at all. I will upgrade as the skills improve.

pete, my mx helmet that i wear gets heavy when you get it wet. i feel like a wobble head doll with it cause it feels big and heavy and i don't have a big frame. I'm gonna go for a bell bmx helmet this season. Although, that is a sweeeet helmet I would love to have one for racing. I really like the new thor and fox helmets that they have now with the flat colors.

Ya, they say that there is different inserts for it... I was just trying to use more sponsor gear out on the water... We will see if it will be to heavy... EVS just has cool stuff and there product designers make stuff so it can be used in water. Its just a cool company, and I would love to see more of their product out there ! :Banane01:
