Helium Swat Vest input

Anybody have one of these, I just bought one today, guess I should have gotten input first.
What do you think about the vest? I got the CG approved one.

i wear the same vest. its not too puffy like most other cg approved vest and i havent had any problems with it yet.

Yeah, is kinda high, but I'm thinking I'll will get a lot of years out of it compaired to the crappy(wally-world) ones I bought before. And I'll be the coolest looking old gray headed dude on the water lol :cool2:

I don't think the Black ones were on sale, anyway I have a Helium Swat, very nice vest if you like side entry vests. Very well suited to stand up riding, so-so for runabouts, it will ride up a little if your sitting. I have no complaints about my SWAT vest. It is thicker than a non approved wake vest, but works and flexes fine.
PS. all the USCG info is printed on the inside of the front panel, not on the back
panel, just so you know.

Thanks for the input. I ride a stand-up and have started learning some tricks, my old vest is in sad shape. I looked at about all of them and like the looks of the Helium Swat best, so I said what the hay get a good one. They shipped it today.

Happy to help, you will like it think, the vest may not be the prettiest girl at the dance graphics wise, but defiantly has the best body :}
Seriously though when it's brand new if will feel a little stiff, but after a few drenchings and some time in a trailer storage box it will soften up some. They break in faster than other neos I have had IMO.

whats the material like? Neoprene stuff gives me rashes on my arms from moving around on the ski too much.

Well it is Neoprene, and I would say it's coarse Neoprene at that. But the arm holes are large, and the fit is snug, it doesn't move around on my torso, not even in the water. There are some Neo vests out now with slick surfaces on the upper chest that might be a better choice if that's an issue.
