Measure the bore of the gasket, if about 82mm it's a 701 gasket.
Just beware there are 2 types of 701 headgaskets depending what year stock head you have. Early model 61x head uses the 61X prefix headgasket part number, '96-up late model heads that have bridges across the water passages use the 62T prefix headgasket.

Eric, when you go to Greater Yamaha today to get your gasket take the head with you. I checked an AM gasket i have against the old OEM gasket - non of the holes for the water ports line up except the 4 - 1/8" center ones. The AM gasket holes didn't even line up with any of the head water ports.
