FX-1 Has anyone done the pump mod for the fx1 In Colorado?

I am doing my pump mod to the 650 in the fx1. I think I hit a bump in my build? Not sure if I need to grind more out before fiberglass?

Like the subject says, has anyone in Colorado or near Amarillo done the pump mod? I live in northern new Mexico. I'm willing to drive to you for advice! I can always bring beer as an incentive. :D

My engine is in and bolted down. And the intake grate lines up to the pump when holding it in place. Also the ride plate clears the pump (barely). The pump doesn't sit quite level but I'm okay with shinning it.

You really want the pump square with the shoe, and the shaft centered. Pump angle is important as well. Install the midshaft and you can use it as a guide.
