recently finished my build on my SN ( http://www.x-h2o.com/threads/29258/post-429800#post429800 )and i love it but there is one thing that is bugging me, the tail end breaks out WAY to easy it seems like. i went with the WR-308 rideplate from worx...its not in the turns that i am having an issue its a problem when i do a WOT run. after i get up to full speed the back of the ski starts sliding from side to side a little at first and if i keep on the throttle it gets worse to the point of almost bucking me off...any suggestions? different ride plate? and yes this was all done on glass water so i know there weren't any swells pushing me around.

My square has a WestCoast plate on it with the two fins/skegs on the bottom. It is also an extended plate. It doesn't slide out running WOT. Of course WOT on a 650 stocker is about 18 MPH :silly:

lol 19 i think on glass and a cold day. i was kind of thinking it would have to be the rideplate...most of my riding is surf riding, at least when i can get waves. but i still want to be able to go wot through the bayous without doing cartwheels off the side.

Most Superjets that I have ridden do that on smooth water. It took me forever to get use to mine after owning Kawasakis. You will notice it less the more you ride. It is possible to take out the tendency to hunt but it tends to take away from turning ability.

Ive never noticed an oscillation building in my D cut stock plate?

swap plates and see if it goes away, but also make sure your turn nozzle and everything are tight, you might have something loose underneath.

intake grate bolts, rideplate bolts, steering cable, nozzle... steering at the bars loose maybe?
