300/440/550 handlepole 440

hey guys im new to this forum i just got my first stand up a 91 440 which is in damn good shape a lady owned it. Anyways so far i got a complete exhaust from coffman on there a skat prop and westcoast intake and exhaust, I plan on doing a custom paint job on it and a couple other mods. Do they make a aluminum handlepole for these ski's. Thanks


also is a supertrap waterbox better than a mariner in terms of performance, thanks

They used to make them but I doubt anyone would still be making one.Post in the want to buy section here or every once in a while you can catch one on fleabay.

the supertrapp is a good water box, but they require maintenance. back in the day i had one on my 550, and i had to take it apart often, to clean out debirs that gets stuck in the discs. so, it is kinda a pain....

but it had a nice tone.

get an xmetal pole and TRIPLE the value of the ski!!!!

you might find an AL pole on ebay. i see them once in a while.

just wait till you break it, or it starts to crack.
you will find stock poles all day long,
you have to ride hard to bust them

i got a stocker, tell you what its got a quick turn plate on it and so a/m bars. 20.00 plus shipping its yours!!

I have an aluminum one from my old 440 and a stock one from one of the Jet ski's used in the waterworld performance show. its all painted and done up
my bro and i went half and half on it so ill see what he wants to get rid of it for

yeah i didn't break my handlepole yet LOL just seeing if there are some out there.


as for the supertrap waterbox, it has no discs in it so would that hurt the performance.


Im going to build my 91 440 and then sell it along with my 95 kawi 750ss and look for a superjet or a 96sxi kawi.

I have an aluminum pole on my old 550, I liked it because it sat flush with the top of the hood so it made hood tricks easy and its got bling bling, Im selling the ski for 550 with the pole, but im sure your not interested. figured id ask b/c im from MI too.
