Super Jet Gunwale bilge outlet mount

For those of you mounting the bilge outlet(s) up by the hood, on the gunwales...are you able to
get the fitting flush with the hull. It looks like it may have trouble sitting flat because its so curvy in that area. I will be using a strait fitting.

I had to do some grinding on mine to get the nut to sit flat. If you don't want to grind then another option would be to just glue it in place with 3M 5200.

i glued my last bilge outlet on with 5200.. bad idea. i had to cut it in half to remove it. i would just use some silicone to seal up the gap and make it possible to remove

Mounted in this location there is there a way to "run a loop" to keep water from running in when the skis upside down?

Now that's a good question, right there. Everybody seems to forget about that important detail...

Well after looking at tons of bilge setup pictures, almost no one runs a loop. Most went with the short and strait method. Is this just a non issue?

Just leave the pump running while your riding it won't hurt it a lot of the salt water guys hard wire them to the battery and disconnect them when they are done riding
