GP800 Engine Rebuild WTB or Service Needed

I have a 98 Yamaha GP800 that needs some love, and I simply don't have the time. Engine needs to be rebuilt, I could ship it out or if someone has one for sale I'd be an interested buyer. Looking to do someone asap but would rather give money to someone here than SBT or ebay. Let me know!

This is not the answer you are looking for, but if you really don't care about it being an 800 ski, this would be prime time to consider ditching the horrendous 800 motor and swapping to something more reliable like the 1200, or if it's just a play ski drop a 62T in it.

Didn’t realize it was such a pile but I guess after having it blow a couple times that should’ve been a clue. Maybe I’ll look into swapping a 1200

I dropped a 62T 701 in mine with a 760 pipe, did pretty well with the same 800 prop and waterbox setup (had to find a different hose to make the combination work). Was a good budget ski. The Bone stock b2 could get the holeshot, but if the GP was out front the b2 couldn't pass it on the straights or the corners surprisingly.
