I want to install a spring on a protec/cats trim system. Does anybody know what to get and where to get it?

You may go buy a few, find which one fits the best and take demensions from it. Then return them to the HomeDepot or wherever and purchase a stainless one through McMaster.

I bought mine from the local ACE hardware and just bought spares at $0.50 each.
When I looked on McMaster all they had in stainless was narrow diameter spings which I felt were much too small to work with my setup. I'd be interested to see what others are using.

Watcon has some good stainless springs with the eye bolt mounts too.
BTW the spring is only needed if you're using the trim out of the water to keep the cable from binding up.
