I know this topic has been covered but thought it would be wise to discuss with the cold weather here.
I got a 15' stock SJ, stock engine, stock cooling, annoying pisser out the back as well(soon to be blocked).
Water temperature has been getting into the 40's right now. Been running okay so far, I like to go when the air temp is 50F+.
Wondering if I need to pull my carb caps off and richen(1/4 turn hi/lo)? I haven't pulled the carbs yet as there has been no need. Looks like a pain to drill those caps off. Is there a way to separate the carbs and drill straight down onto the cap or do you drill in at an angle with them together?
Also anyone with a stock engine run cooling line restrictors? And if so, which part of the cooling line do you restrict?
