general questions- ADA head, flywheel torque

Ericfox

Do it twice?That's DooDoo
wanted to ask to see what you guys thought:

1) how often do you replace your o-rings on your ADA girdled head kit? any regular time frame?

2) I just got a TBM aluminum flywheel and in the installation directions he recommends retorquing the flywheel bolt every 25 hours of operation....

how often do you guys torque this bolt, and if you do need to torque it every once-in-awhile - has anyone tried that flywheel cover that has the little cover on it that you can remove to get a torque wrench in there? (I think its the oil block off kit for a blaster or other ski with the 701 that didnt come premix).

Thank you.

Orings - I replace the compression ones if I remove the head, other than that, I dont fool with them. But most will have their heads off at least once a season!

On my Kawi, I can get a 3/8 14mm socket in the front oil blockoff to torque mine, and when Cuong was talking to Wamilton about blown orings, he reccomended a thin film of 1211 instead of grease.

I'm just telling you what Wammer himself said if you are having trouble blowing orings like Cuong was, it will solve the problem.
