Don't know about ethanol resistant but the cheap ones from Lowes seem to do the trick just fine anyways. I picked up a couple extra just to have on hand for capping my tanks when I have them out of the skis for the night.

There was a thread on them specifically if you can find it, i think they are a 2" or a 1 1/2" rubber plumbers cap for $2.95 at Lowes.

I was looking at those @ lowes yesterday, but I started to wonder if the cheesy rubber would breakdown and get in the gas/carbs. They made my fingertips black just picking them up. Going to dig aroung mcmaster to see if they have anything rated for fuel contact.

You can ask around but I think guys have been using them for years without issue. They are cheap enough too that you could replace them often without breaking the bank.

Damn why do you have to bring logic into this! Thats a good point. I just saw what one season of ethanol gas exposure did to my tygon lines and got me thinking I should look for something better then rubber for the cap.

LOL, don't get me going on Tygon lines either. What Tygon lines were affected by alcohol? If it was those colored lines from fuellinez.biz they were not actually Tygon but a poly blend.
