2 550 and 1 yama pole bracket later, i got a limiter rope. new latch also

B-pipe makes the rev imiter bang in no time flat and will probably get worse with a lightened flywheel so on goes the cdi. Everyone bad mouths the MSD so i went with a RIVA.

ok so there is still a ton to do because i cant stop riding long enough to do any projects but our mild winter is coming in a few months so ill knock out the footholds then. i just started messing with fiberglass and carbon and am suprised at how much easer it is than it seems when you dont know how. so im going to make some handhold buckets and cut some hand holds.


- used some packing cardboard from the weedeater i got for a mold. chopped it up and taped till it matched up with the inside corner of the hood.

i got some 5.6 oz carbon from USComposites and 6 oz fiberglass from West Marine. im thinking i will do the bottom layer carbon, 2 layers glass then 1 more of carbon to finish it off. ive only dont a few patches of glass on a boat hull and put some carbon on an old JS hull using different methods for R and D, so im not sure how this will work out

just finished putting it all together, so far so good. the carbon was easy to work with. in a few hours when the snot drys, ill peel it out trim it up a bit and post some pics.

im very pleased with the way it came out, final trim will be just before i install them. gonna make a few more tomorrow and hopefully have them installed in a few days. the mold worked perfect. I read a post by MEATBALL in the tech section that said the epoxy wouldnt stick to duct tape and tis true.
